Brit's manager, Adam Leber, tweeted his approval on Thursday: "Do you guys want to see a Britney Spears episode of GLEE? Thoughts?" He later started a trending topic, "#BritneySpearsGLEE," in hopes of sparking a rally cry to get the attention of Glee producers.

Is Leber deluded that he can make a Britney episode of Glee into a reality? Maybe. But Twitter and Facebook campaigns certainly worked for Betty White Justin Bieber, who both scored gigs on Saturday Night Live due to fans' fervent pleas.
